Plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities, so as to develop sales of dental and other products to businesses, in accordance with agreed upon business plans. Principal method will be outbound telemarketing. Focus on retail and wholesale business employer groups.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and carry out direct marketing activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
  • Identifies market potential by qualifying accounts.
  • Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements.
  • Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing agreements.
  • Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services; developing new applications.
  • Recommends new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled.

Education and Experience:

  • Familiarity with Pipeline or other CRM systems:
    • Small Businesses
    • Agents (both existing and new)
    • Affinity Groups
    • Inbound Sales Calls
    • Alternative distribution channels, (i.e., physicians' offices, pharmacy chains, etc.)
    • LinkedIn Outreach
    • Outbound Phone Calls (30 - 40 per day)
    • Outbound telesales experience, 2 - 5 years preferred
  • Required Education:  High School Graduate - Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience in account development, cold calling, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, and call control.
  • 2 - 3 years of direct work experience in Marketing, Sales, Public Relations or related business development role.
  • Compensation is a competitive base salary plus commission
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, high energy, and strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
